MASSIVE Updates Today. And I am shot. I've decided to 'unleash' the contents of the site. That is, I've removed the auto overflow and let it flow... :-p Haha.. Anyways, editing the background of the site to compensate for this took about 3 hours. The css tweaking that went along with it took about 1.5 hours due to the now fixed Navigation box to your left [to compensate for the scrolling page]. Yes, I know it's not fixed for IE.. go figure. Hopefully, I will be able to find a hack for this. If not, fork it.
I would love to hear any comments/ideas/suggestions on what I have done. Feel free to submit those via the contact page. Alright, I'm gonna give my eyes a break now. Cya
IE Max-Width
After having much trouble with variations of the max-width hacks for IE, I finally found something that works. I was trying to get a series of images in a myspace profile to display properly in IE. It seems most of the hacks worked outside of a myspace profile but not in one. This one does. Thanks to dustindiaz.com for the help!
"The leader who beats the drums of war
in order to whip the citizenry into patriotic fervor,
for patriotism is a double-edged sword.
It emboldens the blood and narrows the mind.
And when the drums of war have reached fever pitch
and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed,
the leader will have no need to seize the rights of the citizenry.
Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism,
will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and gladly so.
How do I know?
For this is what I have done. And I am Caesar."

Alright, I inspected the code and fixed it up.. so it's valid again. All the validity errors were mainly due to the incompetence of webcamxp, a fantastic webcam program, to export nothing but horribly mangled, bloated, and invalid code. Who do you have writing your code over there? Let me guess... they came from Macromedia. Ahaa..
Thanks to Andrea and Stacy for taking a moment out of their day to post in the shoutbox. Looking forward to moshing with you at Devildriver Andrea. Stacy, well all i can say is, "Road blocks I guess."
What else has been going on? I started working for a multi-functional company called M&M Productions. Working for a great guy that understands. Period. Learning alot there. Also, school... well.. we've seen better days. On a side note: the ocean is ice-fkng-cold during spring break so don't bother.
I almost forgot the most important thing of all: BANK OF OKLAHOMA GETS RICH OFF OF MISGUIDING YOUNG COLLEGE STUDENTS AND THEN RIPPING THEM OFF....ESPECIALLY BRANCH MANAGER (laff), "ERIKA", AT ALBERSTONS AT MACARTHUR AND NWEXPWY...STAY AWAY FROM THAT ONE FOR SURE...HAHA

Oh, one more thing. I think this leopard gif is really cool so I'm posting it here. Credit goes to whoever made it which isn't me.
Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence
Ghost in the Shell 2: According to Jacob grimm, golems obtained their energy from the word "aemaeth" written on their foreheads, in other words, from the word "truth", but the first two chacters "ae" were erased to show maeth", in other words "death" and thus they returned to the ground from whence they came.

Cool updates this week! Starting one week before Valentine's Day, I turned the entire site into a Valentine for my loving girlfriend and bestfriend, Stacy!
And we have yet another new update starting today! I've decided to change the site colors for a while just a bit. What does everyone think? I also added some Ghost in the Shell 2 pics. If you haven't already seen it, watch it! It's very deep.

What a month this has been. Well the new site design is done, and the developing process has begun. It's going slowly due to the fact that I am not a developer and have to teach myself php and actionscript interaction. I feel like I'm finally starting to get a kind of overall understanding of variable sending and receiving between actionscript in flash and PHP.
As for the holidays... I tried making 4 pecan pies last night. Of course I wanted them to be vegan so I had to go and get an egg replacer. Well, it did NOT work with the recipe I was using. Afterwards, I looked up a pecan pie recipe that used the same egg replacer and it calls for flour, which was NOT in my recipe. My recipe was far too liquid. All 4 pies destroyed! It's a shame. So I'm getting ready to go and get some more ingredients. Wish me luck and Happy Holidays! ! !

Alright, it may seem like it's been awhile since I've done anything with the site. However, this is not true. I have added about 4 new affiliates, and lost 2 or 3. : ( Also, I've been sick the last 3 weeks. Ugh. On top of that, I started substitute teaching!
More importantly, I have been working the last MONTH on a complete new Re:Design of DeweyDesigns... This will be version 2. And guess what? It's ALL in Flash! Oh ya.. Hence why it's taken a "month" so far. No idea when I'll be done. Hopefully soon. I'm buckling down; working on it every night. Done with the graphics and layout, but I'm running into all kinds of problems with PHP integration and other functionality. Sigh. I'm not a programmer... Still, I'm learning #8-|
Update! 9 | 29 | 5
Well, I've been working on a little animation for the title located just above the content area on the right. Sigh. Not really turning out like I hoped. I may yet tweak it again.

Unbelievable! The problems that compound when you try and fix and work around IE's limitations are ridiculous. I fixed the fix! (lol) To be precise, I fixed the validation issues with the PNG transparency fix for Internet Explorer! The PNG fix involved using a new CSS property called "behavior". Unfortunately, it's not yet a valid property, so it 'breaks' my validation. I removed it from my special external IE stylesheet and placed it in the header of the xhtml page hidden in a document.write JavaScript. :) Here's my code:
Update! 8 | 20 | 5
- Checked ALL site links. Unfortunately, my portfolio sites links are not functional, because they are merely mock sites. There's so many!!! I even toyed with the idea of dropping one site completely just to rid myself of broken links. That's Crazy! I can't do that. I will have to find another way. :( Furthermore, I corrected many links I thought were functional and in fact were not.
- Re-Validated Xhtml
- New CSS Validation problem has arisen due to the earlier IE PNG Transparency fix. No solution yet. Still working on it.

I've been picketing all day for new and old affiliates. I've established some and am eagerly waiting to hear back from several more. Sigh... can never have enough affiliates.
Also, I've found a png transparency fix for Internet Explorer that actually works! And the best part is: It looks the same in Mozilla! Yay! Here's a link to the information I found.

Update! 5 | 30 | 5
Online! the Site is finally up and running on a paid host, HostGator, and showing off the new .com domain name!! The site has been down for a rather long period of time due to constant server mess-ups with free hosts. They are just too unreliable. Hopefully, this one will work great!
My most recent project involves Menu Screens and graphics for a new game called, "Return of Aladdin" by my friend Anas Bricha. Expect to see a new section for that soon!
Previous projects that include 2 new series of wallpapers: Love and Hate and Astral. These too will be up soon in the portfolio section under wallpapers.
Other than that, I plan on straightening some things up around the site as soon as I can. It will most likely be after I re-establish all my affiliates. That will take some time indeed!
Thanks All and Enjoy the Site!
